Author Biography

  • Ana Lúcia Migowski, Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, Porto Alegre, Brazil

    Ana Lúcia Migowski received her Master’s degree in Communication and Information from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, Porto Alegre, Brazil, in 2013. Since then, she has taught as a lecturer in Social Communication faculties and postgraduate courses in Brazil. Currently she is a PhD candidate at Justus-Liebig-University, Giessen. Her doctoral research deals with the use of digital media, especially social networking sites, in the elaboration of cultural and communicative memories. Migowski is also a member of the International Graduate Centre for the Study of Culture (GCSC).
