Abstract

Ina Gankam Tambo highlights in "Child Domestic Work in Nigeria, Conditions of Socialisation and Measures of Intervention" the issue of domestic child labor on the basis of different approaches and thus provides a deeper understanding of those issues as a part of a historically grown social system. With reference to relevant theoretical framings of society and processes of socialization, her own data, namely interviews and group discussions, allow a wide-ranging analysis; she aims at explaining the issue of domestic child labor and its importance for those who are concerned.
