On Bilinguals and Bilingualism brings together 40 years of research on bilingualism by researcher and scholar François Grosjean. Written from a personal perspective and in a reflective tone, the volume aims to challenge enduring prejudices about bilingual speakers and promote a holistic view of bilingualism. This review outlines the book’s autobiographical structure and summarizes Grosjean’s major theories, empirical contributions, and their relevance for contemporary bilingualism research.
